Resources for Literature Circles



Students will engage in an online discussion about the book by creating a Book Page on this Wiki. You will post responses and use the Discussion Board on your page for your interactions. You will post responses and respond to others posts. Each student will contribute a minimum of 3 thoughtful reader responses for the book (Ideas will be discussed in class).


This is a 50 point assignment for the course and will be assessed using the following criteria.

Starting your literature circle. Why did the author write this book? Find an interview. Check out the authors web site. What other pieces has this author written? Have you read them? Generate questions that come to your mind as you explore. Make this one of your first discussion posts.
